Chris Jones BTech(Hons) NPQH
Chief Executive

Chris has 30 years experience as an educator and leader working as a secondary school teacher since 1985, senior leader since 1999 and charity leader since 1995. Since starting CJ Learning he has worked for a number of education focused organisations, schools and academies as a consultant leader and coach, providing fast intervention, turn-around and school improvement programmes.

Building on the success of his SMARTcurriculum Method, used in over 15 Mutli-Academy Trusts and nearly 90 schools across the country, in 2018 Chris launched the sister company to CJ Learning - CJL Technologies, through which he developed and launched his ground-breaking SMARTcurriculum App, an online tool enabling senior leaders to assess, analyse and model the efficiency, effectiveness and ethics of their curriculum using one easy dashboard.

With a reputation for an intelligent and empathetic management style Chris and team are experienced leaders and coaches who will work with staff in curriculum leadership, organisational management including timetable systems, HR and appointment systems as well as assessment systems and many other development practices.

Chris is passionate about making systems work, ‘walking the walk, not just talking the talk.’

Diana Jones BEd

Director, Lead Tutor
Diana has 14 years' experience of teaching GCSE Maths, for both Higher and Foundation levels. She uses this experience to deliver personalised tuition to students.


Chris Sweetman MA (Surrey) NPQH

Leadership Practitioner
With over 10 years senior leadership experience in secondary schools and a further 7 as an education technology consultant, Chris brings a wealth of experience and technical knowledge to our work with schools and MATs


Emily Redmond

Administrator
Emily joined the team in 2013, having worked in retail for 5 years; the last two in management training. Emily is brilliant with numbers and maintains our customer database. Emily also privately tutors maths GCSE.


Nicky McGregor BA(Hons) PGCE

Executive Assistant
Nicky previously worked as a primary teacher and literacy leader for ten years and, before that, as an editor. She has a fine eye for detail and keeps us all shipshape!


Rachel Barford

Implementation Manager 
Rachel previously worked as a University Administrative Officer for over 10 years, primarily focused on Quality Assurance and Improvement. She now uses her well honed administration, management and communication skills to support clients in their businesses.
